WHAT SERVICES DOES BEL FLE OFFER?

Bel Fle serves groups on either a guesthouse/property rental or classic hotel format as well as special events. Bel Fle also offers day rates, weekend getaways and swim passes with some limitations.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE INCLUDED WITH MY STAY?

With the Classic Hotel format, your stay includes the following:

  • Continental breakfast included with property rental
  • Free wi-fi access
  • On-site, 24 hour security and manager
  • On-site pool access (no lifeguard on-duty, swim at your own risk)
  • Air conditioning included in all guest rooms
  • Safe, chlorinated, clean water
  • Water bottles and toiletries in your room daily
  • Coffee maker and mini-fridge in every room
  • Laundry service for an additional fee
  • No kitchen access
  • Lunch & dinner service available with 24 hour advance request for an additional fee
  • Beds made up, rooms cleaned and prepared daily
  • On-site car parking
  • Bel Fle generators power down daily from 12 PM - 4 PM. City power (if available) or inverters will still be operating during this period.
  • Non-smoking property

With the Guesthouse format, your stay includes the following:

WHAT IS A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST?

A continental breakfast is a light morning meal and consists of cold or room temperature products such as fruit, muffins, bagels, cereal, bread, yogurt, juice, milk, tea, and fresh coffee along with butter, jam/jelly, milk, and sugar.

 

DO I NEED TO ACQUIRE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Travel insurance is strongly recommended as a precautionary measure for all guests traveling internationally. Bel Fle staff are happy to provide additional information or options for purchasing travel insurance. Please contact reservations@belfle.org if you need more information.

 

DO I NEED TO MAKE MEAL RESERVATIONS?

  • Breakfast is included for all guests each morning.
  • Lunch or dinner provided with 24 hour advance request for a fee based on the type of booking (Guesthouse or Classic) Prices subject to change. Meals will be served buffet or family style.
  • Pitchers of water, fruit juice, coffee, tea included with meals.

WHAT VACCINATIONS DO I NEED FOR TRAVEL TO HAITI?

Please check with your doctor and/or the Center for Disease Control for the most up to date health information for travelers going to Haiti and for any individual medical concerns/questions. You may also contact a local travel clinic, where available, which specializes in vaccines for travelers for additional information. In general, most travelers need to ensure the following: make sure all routine vaccinations are up to date and update Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccinations. For Haiti, we also recommend getting a prescription for Chloroquine (anti-malarial) and Cipro (antibiotic).

 

WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?

All international travelers must have a valid passport. The US State Department recommends renewing it 9 months before it expires to ensure access into your destination country. All guests at Bel Fle will be required to show their passports or photo id and have a copy made upon arrival. We highly suggest that all guests make a copy of their passport to keep separate from the original in case of a lost or stolen passport.

 

HOW SHOULD INTERNATIONAL CALLING BE HANDLED?

International calling is not be available on property. International plans can be affordable and very convenient; check with your cellular service provider in advance of travel.

 

IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED BY BEL FLE MISSIONS HOTEL?

Security is provided at Bel Fle 24 hours a day, every day. Bel Fle does not provide any transportation to or from our facility. We strongly encourage groups to make arrangements for their own security and transportation prior to arrival. We also encourage all guests to implement a buddy system while traveling in Haiti to ensure the safety of all participants. We do not recommend leaving Bel Fle's facility on your own. We also do not recommend leaving the facility after dark. Please talk to on-duty staff for additional information.

 

WHAT IS THE CREDIT CARD POLICY? 

We require a valid credit card number on file at the time of your booking. Any damage or incidental fees will be charged to the credit card on file at check out. Credit Card Payment for room charges not accepted on property.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY? 

For group reservations, a deposit of the first night’s stay is due with reservation. The balance of the group booking is due one (1) month prior to check in. For safety and security purposes, groups must provide room assignments one week prior to arrival. Reservations that are not paid in full one month prior will be cancelled. ALL GROUP RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

WHAT IS THE SMOKING POLICY? 

In the interest of maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all guests, Bel Fle is 100% smoke-free (including vaping and e-cigarettes). A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest's account should smoking occur anywhere inside the facilities.

 

WHAT IS THE PET POLICY? 

Bel Fle Missions Hotel does not offer accommodation to pets.

 

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION

FOR CLASSIC HOTEL GROUPS:

With prior notification, guests may have visitors. Because Bel Fle is a secure property, ALL guests must be approved prior and names for ALL guests must be provided in advance to Bel Fle. Renting group is liable for the conduct of their team members and guests.

 

FOR GUESTHOUSE/PROPERTY RENTAL GROUPS:

Groups are renting the property beyond the blue security gates. With prior notification, groups may have visitors, or arrange for reasonable events or activities that have been preapproved by Bel Fle management. Because Bel Fle is a secure property, ALL guests or activities must be approved prior, and names for ALL guests or event participants must be provided in advance to Bel Fle. The renting group is liable for the maintenance of the property and the conduct of their team members and guests.

Anyone meeting or picking up a group will be asked to wait at the guard house.
